Poster/ePoster Information

Abstracts are accepted on the understanding that the work has not been published or presented elsewhere. Accepted abstracts are presented at the Congress as a Poster, ePoster or as an oral presentation. Authors will be informed of the decision of their abstract at the start of March 2019. Accepted abstracts will be published in the Archives of Disease in Childhood.


Europaediatrics 2019 includes a commercial exhibition. Please view the Sponsorship and Exhibition page for more information about supporting Europaediatrics 2019.  Please note that only registered delegates are allowed in the exhibition area.

Meals and refreshments

Complimentary refreshments will be available during scheduled breaks throughout the Congress. Lunch is included in the registration fee and will be available for delegates on Thursday, Friday and Saturday in the exhibition hall.


The official language of Europaediatrics 2019 is English.

Certificate of Attendance

A Certificate of Attendance will be available for all delegates attending Europaediatrics 2019 along with further information regarding CME credits.  

Visa Support

A letter of support for those requiring a visa will be provided on request. Please contact for further information.                         


The Euro (€) is the only currency that is officially recognised as legal tender in Dublin. Europaediatrics 2019 only accepts Euros.

Travel Insurance

A travel insurance policy to cover theft, loss and medical problems is recommended. Bioscientifica Ltd will not be held liable for illness, accidents or theft suffered by attendees during the Congress or their stay in Dublin before or after the Congress.

Cancellation or modification of the Congress

In the unlikely event, Europaediatrics 2019 has the right to alter or cancel the Congress without prior notice. This includes any circumstance beyond the reasonable control of Europaediatrics 2019 which prevents or impedes the holding of the Congress, including, but not limited to, government action, war or hostilities, riot or civil commotion, plague or other epidemic such as SARS, bird flu, earthquake, flood, hurricane, cyclone, fire or other natural physical disaster, explosion, accident or breakdown, strike, lack of the usual means of transportation or terrorism. Europaediatrics 2019 is not liable for any direct or indirect, incidental or consequential damages, losses, expenditures or any other inconveniences or costs caused by such modification or cancellation of the Congress. Registration fees will not be reimbursed by Europaediatrics 2019.

Bioscientifica Ltd cannot accept liability for injuries or losses of whatever nature incurred by delegates, nor for loss of or damage to luggage and/or personal belongings. Please check the validity of your own travel insurance. All reasonable endeavours will be made to hold Europaediatrics 2019 and to present its program as scheduled under circumstances which assure the comfort and safety of all participants. However, neither EPA/UNEPSA nor its committees, representatives or agents, shall be held liable by any person as a result of the cancellation of Europaediatrics 2019 or of any of the arrangements, programs or plans connected therewith, or for any injury, damage or inconvenience which may be suffered by any person while travelling to or from, or during such person's presence in Dublin in connection with the Congress. Participants are fully liable for damages caused to third parties and property. All delegates shall have valid, fully comprehensive third party liability insurance.
