About the hotel
Buswells Hotel is 950m from Merrion Square and 1.5 km from St. Patrick's Cathedral. This long-standing Georgian hotel dates back to 1882. Before it was a hotel is was the Queen’s Institute for the Training and Employment of Educated Women. Their pioneering college was the first of its kind in Europe. The Institute offered classes in telegraphy, engraving, architectural drawing, book-keeping and woodwork, among other things.
The refined rooms are traditionally styled with plush throws on down duvets. They come with free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, bottled water, tea and coffee making equipment.
Trumans restaurant is elegantly styled where you can enjoy breakfast and carvery lunches. There is the intimate Buswells bar with leather armchairs where you can enjoy locally sourced craft beers or choose from an extensive snack menu whilst relaxing in their sofa or morning room.”
